In other games, say Hearthstone or League of Legends (notably bigger games) if you play ranked you have a huge range of skill where people can all fit into their level of skill so it makes it more enjoyable for players. I applauded their use of a card so rarely seen to accomplish their goal, but I'm wondering if instead I should have friended them just to tell them what a trash nub they are for playing with a card that isn't in the version of their deck that I already built, that was based on another player's deck that hit top ten last month. Like.what? Isn't that the point of the game? Yesterday on ladder I lost to someone running a trebuchet, because I didn't draw a card that could respond to it and the trebuchet totally wrecked me. I will admit, I was super taken aback that people would be upset at other players for using cards they themselves would not use.
Your best bet in that case is to just smile and nod.I know nothing about this feud, but the post yesterday complaining about players having the gall to play cards that aren't in the top netdeck playlist makes me enjoy this post so so much.
